Milani HD Advanced Lip Color

Since Milani products aren't sold in my area, I was thankful that Chie has someone who brings this in for her. One time, I asked her to purchase a few Milani HD Advanced Lip Colors on my behalf.

I was excited because this was my first time to try a product from Milani and kept my fingers crossed that this would be great.

Ignition, Candy Apple and Raspberry Blush were my three color picks because my goal was to select colors that I could possibly use on clients since this was an HD product.

Left to right: Ignition, Candy Apple and Raspberry Blush

This product wore comfortably and felt moisturizing throughout. It's on the sheer side so it can apply uneven at first but that can be corrected with additional coats. I hoped that this would not fade immediately but I was disappointed since this only lasted two hours, at most. In order for me to make it last longer, I had to use a coat of my Chanel lipgloss - with that, it wore for about four hours.

Ignition is described as a coral red in Milani's website but I think it's more of a milky melon color.

Candy Apple is my favorite! It's a bright neutral red - as you can see, it applies unevenly. Still, it's lovely.

Raspberry Blush is a violet-pink stain which I think matches more looks among the three. Really nice for everyday use.

Its worth mentioning that this has a sugary-candy favor which I actually like but it may not appeal to everyone.

Although I find this nice for personal use, I would not recommend this to Makeup Artists with bridal or formal event clients because of the wear time. It might be okay for photo shoots but you'll need to make an effort to make this appear even and constant reapplication is required.

Have you tried Milani HD Advanced Lip Color? What other shades are nice?
