A Trip Down Memory Lane: My Wedding Makeup Artist's Kit

Today I thought I'd show you the makeup kit of the artist I hired for my wedding, Percy. The picture above was taken during the trial session.

All her blushes are from NARS. She had a lot of NARS eyeshadow duos and lip glosses. Concealer was from Estee Lauder. The foundation she used on me was the Oil Free one from Laura Mercier. I spotted some items from MAC, Bobbi Brown, Guerlain and Chanel. There were other brands there but I didn't get the chance to take a closer look.

My initial reaction - WOW. My eyes grew wide. I was in love with the selection in her kit... because I use the same brands on my clients and I also have them as part of my personal collection.

She brought the same kit on my wedding day, as expected. There were two different things that she did from when we had our trial session: she used NARS Copacobana as the base color for my eyes and La Mer Fluid Foundation on my face. I love how my makeup looked that day. It had shimmer but it wasn't overdone - it was radiant.

I am hardcore crushing on her kit!

My reaction this time around: Damn, where did she buy her makeup case? I have to have it. I HAVE TO. And I still don't know where to find it. Help pls?

  1. That is pretty impressive! Not sure on the kit but if you find out let me know I need one too lol

    1. will do. been on a mad hunt since december! it's definitely better to have that than to carry a traincase when working on a client. :)

  2. Hi there! Were you able to find that case? Do you know the brand name? I'm always on the lookout for makeup cases. Love the blog :)

    1. Still searching. I really need a case like that - I can already imagine how much less weight I'll be bringing with me when working on a client.

Thanks for giving my blog some love ♥
